Gemma - Secretary
I have been the society's secretary for the past 2 academic years and my specific roles within the committee are: to book meeting rooms, record meeting minutes and ensure the rest of the committee is aware of what's going on within the society. I also hold the very important members lists and have the task of compiling the information for all the society freshers!
In April 2007 I will be doing a sponsored trek in the Himalays to raise money for the National Autistic Society, for whom I currently befriend an 8 year old boy with autism. I will be trekking to heights of 3500m and will be covering approximately 55km over 5 days. My target is to raise £3000.
